What does “corrosive materials” mean?
It is basically corrosion causing materials that will react with the metal surface. Some of examples of “Corrosive materials” are as follows:
- Sea salt particles (sodium chloride, magnesium chloride)
- Sulfuric acid
- Formic acid
- Hydrochloric acid
- Nitric acid
- Ammonia
- Air pollutants (sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide)
- Antifreeze agents
